When you use our platform, we collect usage data such as pages visited, features used, and interactions with other artists. We also collect music metadata, streaming analytics, and geographic listener data to power features like the Buzz Map.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to provide and improve StreetBuzzZ services, process royalty payments, power analytics features like the Buzz Map, facilitate artist-to-artist connections, send platform updates and relevant communications, and ensure the security of your account and data.
3. Music Distribution Data
When you distribute music through our platform, we share necessary metadata (artist name, track titles, artwork, ISRC codes) with our distribution partner Sony Orchard and downstream streaming platforms. This sharing is required to deliver your music to stores and process royalties.
4. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with: distribution partners required to deliver your music, payment processors for royalty payouts, analytics providers that help us improve the platform, and law enforcement when legally required.
5. Your Rights
You may access, update, or delete your personal data at any time through your dashboard settings. You can export your streaming data and analytics. You may request complete account deletion by contacting support@streetbuzzz.com. Upon deletion, we remove your personal data within 30 days, though some anonymized analytics may be retained.
6. Cookies & Tracking
We use essential cookies to keep you logged in and maintain your session. We use analytics cookies to understand how artists use the platform so we can improve it. You can manage cookie preferences in your browser settings.
7. Data Security
We use industry-standard encryption for data in transit and at rest. Payment information is handled by PCI-compliant processors and never stored on our servers. We conduct regular security audits and maintain strict access controls.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or in-app notification at least 30 days before they take effect.
